WebThe Sims 3 freezing My copy of the Sims 3 freezes every few seconds before unfreezing. At first I thought this was my crummy laptop but it used to run fine, even in medium settings. I checked some forums online and it seems this is caused by a random sim somewhere in town getting stuck. WebBasically what happens is I can play it and it'll work ok for like two minutes then every few seconds it freezes partially, sounds still work, faries wings still flap, rain falls, etc, but nothing and no one moves, you can't click anything, and the clock stops completely. Has anyone else had this issue and/or know how to fix it?

The way it freezes every few seconds basically makes that game unplayable., except for people who enjoy getting tortured, I guess.

Webhi, the game works fine in a clean folder. it happens sometimes as often as 20 seconds where my sims just stop doing anything and i have to pause my game for a while for everything to go back to normal. it all looks fine but they just stay still and do nothing. ill try running that thing and ill let you know how it goes Reply 0 + XP #8 January 2024
